Our story: Handmade chocolate from Allahabad to Karachi (since 1870)

In 1870, in the old streets of Allahabad, a devoted baker named Syed Shehzad Ali sparked a legacy with a humble oven, hand-making cakes and biscuits that tasted like home. Neighbours gathered for the aroma and stayed for the honesty—simple recipes, pure ingredients, and patient craft. What began as a small confectionery soon became a neighbourhood landmark, shaped by care, consistency, and heart.

As the years turned, the family carried its recipes and resolve to Karachi, Pakistan. His grandson, Syed Mehtab Ali, revived the same small-batch rhythm—warm ovens, flour-dusted counters, and desserts made to comfort. In 1970, he introduced a cocoa-rich, fudge-style chocolate that changed everything: soft yet structured, intensely chocolate, and impossible to forget. It started as a neighbourhood secret, then a shop favorite, and quickly a childhood classic.

Today, the legacy lives in the hands of Syed Muhammad Ali. For 30+ years, he has protected the family recipe, sourcing pure ingredients and cooking in small batches for honest, consistent flavour. Fudge Bites 1870 is more than a chocolate brand—it’s a living family story from Allahabad to Karachi, crafted by hand and shared with love.
